Chance Conway Bennetts

Chance Bennetts, age 19 of Fostoria passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Hurley Medical Center.  Chance was born on October 13, 1997 in Detroit, MI to Robert Bennetts and Wendy Bradley (Bitters).  Chance grew up in North Branch and attended Lapeer ISD School.   He attended St. Paul Lutheran Church in Lapeer. 

Chance was an adventurer, he loved speed and going fast, running in his wheelchair with his friend, Mandy.  Chance loved Harleys, rides in golf carts and boating.  He always had a big smile and loved his family and loved seeing people laugh and have a good time, but he especially loved life. 

Chance is survived by his mother, Wendy (Doug) Bitters of Fostoria; father, Robert Bennetts of Columbiaville; sister, Kaylei Rae Bennetts; brothers, Gage Bennetts, Jasper Bitters, Brody Bitters, and Brian Bruman; Grandparents, Bonnie and Brad Firmingham of Silverwood, Janet Bitters of Attica; Great-Grandmother, Mary Ann Sieh of Brown City; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by Grandparents, Evan Bradley, Randy Bitters, Robert and Karen Bennetts, Great-Grandfather, Merrill Sieh and Great-Grandparents, Ivan and Devona Bradley.

Memorials may be made to Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home to help for funeral expenses.

The family will be present for visitation on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 12 to 8 PM at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home.  Chance will lie in state from 10 to 11 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Lapeer on Friday, October 6, 2017.  The funeral service will follow at 11:00.  Pastor John Kaiser will officiate.
